About the Event
UNLV SNA is partnering with the University of Tennessee Knoxville SNA to support families who have experienced the devastating loss of a child. Precious Prints provides a sterling silver pendant bearing the fingerprint of the family's child. On Saturday, February 1st, students and faculty from the University of Tennessee Knoxville will be flying out to train UNLV SNA on assembling these precious print kits for families, helping us create teaching plans, learn more about clinical partner engagement, and more. This event is open to all UNLV SNA students. But we need a few committed students from each level to participate in this project and continue it throughout nursing school. This is a unique collaboration and we need dedicated individuals to get trained so that we can then train nurses in the our local hospitals and implement precious prints in the NICU and/or PICU.
When: February 1, 2020
Time: 8:30am-3pm; everyone will not be required to stay for the full time.
